In this process, we work together to pick your website baseplate, stack your modular block selections, and then fill the website with your content. This mixed approach pulls on benefits from affordable and fast template websites, while also capitalizing on customized white-glove services!
We start all of our projects off with a free consultation. It is important that we capture your voice, understand your goals, and build towards your dreams.
We then use our notes to create a list of recommended website baseplates and modular blocks with pricing included, based on your unique needs.
After we deliver our recommendations, we provide some time for you to review them and make your selections.
If new questions pop up, we can always reconnect to clarify things.
We then use your selections to create a customized Adventure Map and Compass, which gives an outline of the whole project. As well as create an SoW for both of us to sign.
Kicking off the build, we make sure that we have all of our prerequisites locked in: Signed SoW, Adventure Map, Compass, and 50% of the build cost has been received.
Then we prep the server, install all needed software, and set up the website baseplate.
We build the homepage first. This helps set the tone and lock in the design for the rest of the website. The number of back-and-forth feedback sessions varies depending on your desire and is set in the SoW.

After the internal pages and modular blocks are locked in, SQUIRE does one final full site polish following our own internal checklist. This helps make sure everything is optimized, error-free, and ready to go!
Once we receive the last 50% of the build cost, we run through our detailed internal launch checklist. Here, we cover tasks like spinning up your production server, connecting your DNS, and adjusting any system licenses if needed. This begins the go-live process!
While we are launching, we are also setting up all security systems that are included within your selected monthly adventure plan. This includes tasks like creating and connecting your SSL, connecting our server-side malware scanner, and connecting our CDN!
Once your website is fully live, we do one last review, checking to make sure no links broke during launch, all license keys carried over correctly, and there are no content bugs!
It is easy to think that once the website has launched, our story is over, but the truth is far from it! The internet is always changing, causing systems to degrade over time. Plus, making your own edits can be difficult and may introduce new errors or vulnerabilities. We created our monthly adventure plans to make sure your website stays secure, up-to-date, and on track for years to come!
